2023 Exeter UFO Festival
The Festival celebrates "all things UFO-related, and features a variety of speakers, panels, children’s activities and events", according to its web site at exeterufofestival.org/.
The festival is based on the “Incident at Exeter,” which occurred on September 3 1965 in nearby Kensington, NH. At that time, 18-year-old Norman Muscarello reported to the Exeter Police his sighting of UFO behind a local barn. As the police investigated the site, they too saw an object hovering. Headlines nationwide told the story. Over the years, the incident has been investigated by numerous experts, but there is still no consensus on what the object was.
The Exeter UFO Festival is run by the Exeter Area Kiwanis Club, with help from many volunteers. Its organizers say that proceeds from the Festival benefit multiple Seacoast charities.

Stuff Really Got Real (COVID-19 Pandemic, April 2020)
I just redisdcovered this weblog in 2023, so I'm going back to share some of myfavorite photos from "the missing years".
My work changed markedly in 2020, as I ventured out during shutdown to capture some of the insanity in and around Concord, NH at the start of the pandemic. It took me months before I could include people in the pix: the loss felt more real without other humans around.
I've tried curating these images before, but it always felt "too early". It's starting to feel OK to look back now.
