New Work: Holiday Abstract

This afternoon, I played around with an oversize snowglobe, motion and extra-long exposures to get something evocative of the Christmas season, but not ***overly*** representational. (Something that would work well in a modern frame in a MCM or minimalist house.) The lens flare was added and contrast/curves, etc. were adjusted in Photoshop. While the look's not for everyone's taste, it was fun just playing with the camera and software and letting serendipity do the rest of the work.

Season's greetings!

New Work: Benson Park (Hudson, NH)

Formerly the site of Benson's Wild Animal Park. These photos are influenced by Salvador Dali, the movie "Escape form Tomorrow" and last year's shoot at Eastern State Penitentiary.

New Work: Escape from Grounds for Sculpture

A month or so ago, I watched Escape from Tomorrow," about a sinister theme park. Today, my daughter, grandson and I visited Grounds for Sculpture (Hamilton, NJ), which reminded me more than a little of the picture. (Parents posing their little cherubs on sculptures of larger than life nudes, etc.) Because the weekend was intended as a social visit, I didn't bring any camera and had to shoot with just my iPad. Here are some images, given the "Escape from Tomorrow" treatment:
