New Work: Benson Park (Hudson, NH)

Formerly the site of Benson's Wild Animal Park. These photos are influenced by Salvador Dali, the movie "Escape from Tomorrow" and last year's shoot at Eastern State Penitentiary.

New Work: Escape from Grounds for Sculpture (Hamilton, NJ)

A month or so ago, I watched Escape from Tomorrow," about a sinister theme park. Today, my daughter, grandson and I visited Grounds for Sculpture (Hamilton, NJ), which reminded me more than a little of the picture. (Parents posing their little cherubs on sculptures of larger than life nudes, etc.) Because the weekend was intended as a social visit, I didn't bring any camera and had to shoot with just my iPad. Here are some images, given the "Escape from Tomorrow" treatment:

New Work: Eastern State Penitentiary (PA)

The following is a representative sample of the 400+ images I shot last weekend at Eastern State Penitentiary (Philadelphia, PA). I've been fascinated by the abandoned prison ever since I learned about it a few years ago. While the Penitentiary closed more than 40 years ago, it has been operated for the past few decades as a tourist attraction. These images are heavily influenced by the more than three years I spent as a volunteer at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men.

These images (and 46 others) can also be viewed on my web site.
